My Back Hurts
I know, I know...bitch bitch bitch. To be honest...if I didn't suffer for art, what else would I have? 16mm film is an interesting beast. Cumbersome, that the actual physical thing is so pliable. A lot of people are turning more and more to 16mm as a viable thing to shoot on. It's nice because you're not killing yourself with the limited amount of footage you're allowed. It goes to 11 minutes per 400 foot roll. And burning through anything more is sort of a waste. I've been working on a 16mm feature now that typically shoots about 3000-4000 feet of film. To cover a few pages we're talking hours. Roughly hovering 2 hours of footage. A 5 pack box of film (in Kodak terms).
Any hooters, now I got to buy some more film to continue the trek. This is actually fun.
More later.
